Rehearsals for the 2017 Summer Solstice Concert begin on March 29th, with Resistance and Song: A Community Workshop (7-9pm).  All are Welcome. Come Sing for an Evening or the Season!

General Singer Information

Everyone is welcome. Come even if you think you can’t sing!  No Auditions. Childcare. Transportation. Extra help!

The Calendar      All Rehearsals, Concerts, and Community Events are now located on our Calendar, where you can see a monthly schedule at a glance. The Calendar can be found on the Calendar Tab (located at the top of every page).

Click on any event in the Calendar (or upcoming events on the right side of every page) for dates, times, and locations (including a map).

That said, the following information is pretty much the same as you’ll find in the Calendar

Any Recent Changes (in Date, Time, Location, or other details) will be indicated in color below!


Rehearsals are on Mondays, After School (~3pm) to 5pm, at 601 Allen St. First Rehearsal is on 4/3. Contact Karen with questions!  428.8151 or


Rehearsals are on Sundays 3:00 to 6pm (beginning 4/2) at 601 Allen St. CONTACT: MiMi Tarshus at; OR Call the Choir Office: 428-8151.


Except for one Saturday rehearsal (9am to Noon on 6/3) all rehearsals are on Wednesday Evenings 7-9pm.

Unless otherwise specified, all rehearsals and events are held at Grace Episcopal Church, 819 Madison St. 13210, at the corner of University Ave. and Madison St.  Parking is available in the lot on Madison and on street. (Please do not park in reserved spaces in the lot).

In the event we need to cancel the rehearsal due to snow, a message will be sent to your email.  But a message will also be posted right here as soon as possible after a decision to cancel has been made.  Remember that your safety is your primary concern, so use good judgment about whether to venture out.


Concert Logistics

4:00 Arrive. Leave food/coats in Dining Room / get your chair or place set up

4:30-5:30 Sound Check / Warm up / Rehearse 

5:30   Teens and Children Sound Check 

    Dinner, bathrooms, hydrate, connect

6:45  Head to Sanctuary        

7:00   Concert Starts! 

(Note: Puppet Practice at 3:15)

Please be on time. Consider that you have to find parking downtown. 

Dinner: There will be a table for optional pot-luck—food to share for dinner before 6:45

Reception; Bring finger foods (desserts or appetizers) ready to be served on it’s own plate. (Enough for 15-20 small servings). Punch, water, and coffee and tea will be available.  Please put your name on your serving dishes if you want them back, and remember to pick them up when you leave the reception!

What to wear: Something that celebrates you!

What not to wear: Perfumes, scented powder, scented deodorants, hair spray, etc. Some of us are very allergic.

What else to bring: Cough drops. Water bottle. Tissues!  Relatives!

Remember: Cover your mouth when you cough!!!
