The Syracuse Community Choir is a community of people who come together to sing songs of peace and social justice. We educate each other & the Greater Syracuse community about social, political, and environmental issues.
Our Mission
The Mission of the Syracuse Community Choir is to:
1. Provide an opportunity for all people to sing
2. Sing music that:
a) Promotes peace, freedom and justice
b) Addresses issues of oppression such as racism, sexism and homophobia.
c) Provides inspiration and vision for changing the world
3. Perform and promote this music in the greater community
4. Build a safe and inclusive community
5. Sound good, have fun and love each other and the world well!
